Eligibility Guideline

- The Scholarship is open to Chinese citizens and legal permanent residents in U.S.A.
- Student may apply only for the SHJRMS during their junior year or senior year of high school (the eleventh or twelfth grade) or during their junior year or senior year of college (the third or fourth year in college).
- The students must simply confirm that you intend to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. colleges or universities for their next fall semester. Any student who intend to take a gap year will not qualified.
- The applicant should keep their academic excellence.
- The applicant should have keen interest in studying friendship between Jewish and China.
- The applicant show their humility and leadership through extracurricular activities.
Timeline
For high school junior students:
February 1: Application Period Opens
May 1: Application Due Date. All applications must be uploaded through the Scholars online application portal by 11:59 PM eastern standard time . Late applications will not be considered.
August 1: Winners list announced.
For high school senior students:
July 1: The summer between junior and senior year, Application Period Opens
September 1: Application Due Date. All applications must be uploaded through the Scholars online application portal by 11:59 PM eastern standard time . Late applications will not be considered.
October 1: Winners list announced.
For college junior students:
February 1: Application Period Opens
May 1: Application Due Date. All applications must be uploaded through the Scholars online application portal by 11:59 PM eastern standard time . Late applications will not be considered.
August 1: Winners list announced.
For college senior students:
July 1: The summer between junior and senior year, Application Period Opens
